the stretch wrapping machine film carriage can classify three kinds:

The first kind is mechanical brake film carriage ,it is very simple stretch wrapper film carriage. the ratio is 150% , it means 1 meter length film can turn 1.5 meters. it not have the motor supply the power to change the film length. it just change by the pull when turntable rotary ,it will produce one force to pull the film, make it turn longer

the second kinds is pre-stretch film carriage , the ratio is 250-300% . it means 1 meter length film can turn 2.5-3 meters . the film carriage have the two rubber rollers and install the two different number of teeth gears on the terminal of the shaft of the two runner rollers. when the motor drive the gear by the chain, the two gears will produce different speed. as for the different number of teeth gears will produce different speed, one roller running fast , the other one running slow, the different speed will pull the stretch film turn longer.

compare with the mechanical brake film carriage the pre-stretch film carriage , the pre-stretch film carriage have extra inverter,motor and gear box,safety film carriage door , safety bottom plate. but the pre-stretch film carriage pallet wrapping machine is high cost than the mechanical brake pallet stretch wrapper .

the safety stretch film carriage door function : it is to keep the laborer safety . when the laborer go to replace the new roller stretch film , the safety film carriage door open, the machine can't running . as for it has one proximity switch on the safety film carriage door ,if the safety film carriage door open, it will not give the signal to PLC, the machine running condition is not satisfy. so it can't running.

the safety stretch film carriage bottom plate function. it is to keep the laborer safety. the stretch wrapping machine will stop running when the safety film carriage bottom plate down to touch any parts of the laborer . as for it has one proximity switch on the safety film carriage bottom plate ,if the safety film carriage bottom plate touch any part of the people, it will not give the signal to PLC, the PLC will control the machine stop running suddenly.

the third kind is the constant tension stretch film carriage . the ratio is 250-300% . it means 1 meter length film can turn 2.5-3 meters . it is most parts the same pre-stretch film carriage. the different is that it has the extra pressure sensor . it can always test the pull force when the turntable is rotating and give a feedback to the PLC by the RS232 or RS485 communication interface. the PLC will control the feed film speed according to it . it is more advance than pre-stretch film carriage .if the pull force is bigger , it will feed the film corresponding fast . in this way the film will not easy broken and not easy damage the product.
